Undergraduate Students (not including Exchange & Visiting Students)

You must first register for orientation in your admissions status portal

There are five orientation components required for degree-seeking undergraduate international students.

1. International Student Orientation (International Student & Scholar Services)

Thursday and Friday, March 28 & 29: All new international students, including freshman and transfers, are required to attend International Student Orientation on the Eugene campus.

2. IntroDUCKtion (Student Orientation Program)

Saturday, March 30, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.: All new students, including domestic and international, are required to attend IntroDUCKtion on the Eugene campus. 

3. Community Course (Student Orientation Program)

All new students, including domestic and international, are required to complete the online Community Course before coming to campus.This is where you will complete your pre-advising module, attend additional sessions, write reflections, and learn more about other IntroDUCKtion requirements. Login to your community page.

4. Prevention Course (Dean of Students)

All new students, including domestic and international, are required to complete the online Prevention Course. The Online Prevention Course has four modules: Alcohol-Wise, Cannabis-Wise, Consent & Respect, and Other Drugs. You will receive an email in your ‘uoregon.edu’ mailbox with information about the online prevention course and when it will be open to complete.  For more information about the Online Prevention Course, visit dos.uoregon.edu/prevention-course.

5. Get Explicit 101 (Dean of Students)

All new students, including domestic and international, are required to attend a Get Explicit 101 session on the Eugene campus. Get Explicit 101 is a training about respectful communication, healthy relationships, sexual assault, and being a responsible Duck. You will receive an email in your ‘uoregon.edu’ mailbox with the session date and time you are required to attend.
