Award Overview
The International Work-Study Award is not cash award. International students who receive an international work-study award will be able to compete for on-campus "work-study" jobs that normally require evidence that a student has been awarded federal financial aid. International Students are not eligible for federal financial aid, so the UO offers international work-study awards that are not from federal funding sources. Although international students who receive this award are not guaranteed an on-campus job, opportunities for on-campus employment will be greatly increased.
Eligibility
- Demonstrated financial need: All international students who are encountering financial difficulties are eligible to apply.
- Full-time students with a 2.0 or higher GPA and satisfactory academic progress toward degree completion.
- Prospective UO students are eligible if you have applied for admission to the UO by January 15, 2024.
