F-1 students must not let the I-20 program end date expire if you have not completed all your degree requirements to graduate.
Before you submit an I-20 Extension Request below, please consult with an academic advisor to review your degree audit and verify how many credits you have remaining to graduate. Then provide the name and email address for the academic advisor on the I-20 Extension Request eform.
If your major is within the College of Business, you must email email@example.com to connect with an academic advisor.
If your major is within the School of Journalism and Communication, you must use firstname.lastname@example.org to connect with an academic advisor.
For all other majors, contact Tykeson Hall at https://advising.uoregon.edu/tykeson
Login to the iConnect Student Portal below and submit the Request for I-20 Extension eForm before your I-20 expires. Failure to request an extension before the I-20 program end date expires will result in the termination of your I-20. You will then be required to take immediate action to regain legal F1 status which will cost you time and money.
An ISSS advisor will contact you once your extension is approved.
