F-1 students must not let the I-20 program end date expire if you have not completed all your degree requirements to graduate.
STEP 1:
Before you submit an I-20 Extension Request below, please consult with an academic or faculty advisor to review your degree audit and verify how many credits you have remaining to graduate. Then provide the name and email address for the academic or faculty advisor on the I-20 Extension Request eform.
For undergraduate students - for a list of advisors by major, go to https://isss.uoregon.edu/academic-advising-major
For graduate students - discuss your graduation plans with your faculty/departmental advisor.
STEP 2:
Login to the iConnect Student Portal below and submit the Request for I-20 Extension eForm before your I-20 expires. Failure to request an extension before the I-20 program end date expires will result in the termination of your I-20. You will then be required to take immediate action to regain legal F1 status which will cost you time and money.
An ISSS advisor will contact you once your extension is approved.
