Financial verification for UG students

According to U.S. federal immigration regulations, international students, who will be sponsored in F-1 status by the University of Oregon, are required to submit evidence of financial resources for the first year of study and living before the UO can issue Form I-20 to the student. The Form I-20 is required to apply for an F-1 student visa. To meet this federal requirement, students must submit one or more financial documents equal to or greater than the total estimated cost for one academic year as part of the admissions process.

2025 Total Estimated Expense

Based on fall 2024 non-resident tuition rate and enrollment in 36 credits for one academic year (9 months). Please note that the UO recommends students enroll in a minimum of 45 credits each year in order to graduate in four years, but 12 credits each term (36 credits for one year) is the minimum number of credits required for full-time enrollment. For detailed breakdown of costs, refer to the UO's Tuition website.
