Complete Withdrawal from the Term

If you have been approved by ISSS for a complete withdrawal from the term, you must follow the steps below to drop all your courses. If you have not yet talked with an international student advisor about your situation, please contact us first!

How to Request a Complete Withdrawal 

There are two steps to drop all your courses for the term.

1. Log into Duckweb and go to the Registration Menu, then click on “Completely Withdraw from the Term.” You will read through several screens then click “I Agree” at the final screen to request a complete withdrawal from the term. After you submit the request, you will receive a message that you are blocked – this is because you are an international student and must get approval from International Student & Scholar Services to completely withdraw from the term.

2. Send an email to intl@uoregon.edu after you request the complete withdrawal in Duckweb and an international student advisor will review your request. If your request is approved by ISSS, then we will notify the Office of the Registrar to process your complete withdrawal request. If your request is denied by ISSS, you will be notified as to the reason why and can schedule an appointment to talk to an international student advisor if you have any questions.
