Rong Gao’s hometown is Beijing, China. As an ICL, Rong is trying to break the barriers between domestic and international students. In order to accomplish the goal, Rong believes ICLs should serve as a bridge to connect each group of students and provide the help they need. She wants international students to feel warm even though they are far away from home. She hopes neither language nor distance is the factor that keep students apart from each other.
