Tewodros Workneh is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Journalism and Communication (SOJC). His research interests include international communication, global media systems flows and systems, communication technologies and development, telecommunications, and political economy of communications. Dr. Workneh taught several courses at the School of Journalism & Communication, Department of International Studies and the African Studies Program at the University of Oregon. Currently, he offers two courses, “International Communication” and “The Arab World, Media and the West,” at the SOJC. He enjoys spending time with his family in the parks of Eugene and taking long walks and hikes in the city’s wonderfully designed trails.
